Now in its fourth year, the So Funny Sligo Comedy Festival promises to deliver plenty of laughs as the festival continues to grow.

With lots of gigs around the town and county, it promises to be bigger and better than ever with the added bonus of all profits from this year’s event going to the Irish Lung Cancer Community.

The first night sees a brand new event for the festival as they team up with the Hawk’s Well theatre for the ‘Ha Ha Hawk’s Well’ Comedy Award which will showcase some of Ireland’s up and coming comedic talent.

The grand prize of €1000 has seen a huge entry list but the judges have whittled it down to night finalists.

If you love X Factor or Britain’s Got Talent, then this is the night for you. With an audience vote as well as special guest judges John Colleary, Justine Stafford and Gearoid Farrelly giving their feedback, it promises to be a great night of fun. Read More
